At Mercedes-Benz of Monterey we are committed to taking customer service to new heights with unique offerings to give you a professional, trouble-free experience. We strive to offer our clients exceptional service such as vehicle pickup/delivery and alternate transportation options.

Shuttle

Our shuttle service can get you to and from the local communities surrounding Monterey. Please be prepared for possible wait times for available shuttles. Our customer lounge offers local organic coffee, small treats, Wi-Fi, and reading material.

Uber

No time to wait for the shuttle? We can arrange to help get you out and back when you’re ready in just a few minutes. Let us hail the Uber around the corner to get you quickly on your way. Rates are based on time and distance. No hassle paying Uber; charges are conveniently added to your service invoice for a single payment transaction at time of check out.

Rental/Loaner Car

We are committed to serving you and will get your vehicles in for service at the soonest available time. Due to the popularity of the rental/loaner car program, we may need to schedule your appointment 2-5 days out to ensure rental/loaner availability.

Loaner Vehicles are provided free of charge while vehicles are under Mercedes-Benz New or CPO warranties. Rentals will be provided at a rate of $79.95 per day while vehicle is in for service.

Vehicle Pickup/Delivery

Based on Driver Availability

We offer pick-up and delivery for your vehicle within a 10 mile radius of the dealership. One way Uber charges may apply for our driver to get to or from the pick-up or delivery.

Don't live nearby? We can also arrange to meet you at the closest population center that is up to one hour away from the dealership for your convenience! Based on driver availability.

Unfortunately, we are unable to give more specific times or set a specific appointment time when picking up your vehicle for service. The drivers, however, will contact you as soon as they are leaving the dealership to give you time to prepare. Please plan on being without your vehicle overnight at a minimum. You are welcome to bring your vehicle into our service center if these times are not convenient for you.

Don't forget to fuel up! Please make sure that your vehicle has enough fuel to travel to the dealership and back. The dealership will pay the fuel costs in the loaner vehicle for travel to and from the dealership. We ask that you replace any fuel used in the loaner vehicle. We charge for any fuel that has to be added to your vehicle or if the loaner vehicle is returned with less fuel than when you received it. A charge of $15 per 1/8th will be applied as needed for the loaner vehicle.

Be prepared, required documents. We need a photocopy of your driver's license, insurance card, and any major credit card. Please have these items ready for the drivers when they arrive. All clients must be at least 25 years old and have insurance coverage that will cover you in a replacement rental. The names on the driver's license, insurance card, and credit card must match. Signatures agreeing to the loaner terms and conditions must be obtained prior to receiving your loaner vehicle.

  • A daily rental rate of $79.95 will apply if any loaner vehicle is not returned within 24 hours of your vehicle being completed.
  • Smoking and Pets are not allowed in the loaner vehicles. A $175.00 detailing fee will be charged upon return for violation of policies.

Please refer to your maintenance booklet for the complete list of factory-required services and details on the specific intervals for your vehicle's year and model.

CAR RENTAL / LOANER DISCLAIMER
CAR TO BE RETURNED UPON DEMAND.  A LATE RETURN FEE OF $79.95 PER DAY WILL BE CHARGED IF THE LOANER IS NOT RETURNED WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED.
WE ALLOW 100 MILES PER DAY, UNLESS LIVING OUTSIDE COUNTY LINES.  A CHARGE OF .25 PER MILE WILL BE CHARGED ON YOUR CREDIT CARD IF 100 MILES IS EXCEEDED.
CUSTOMER MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER TO LOAN VEHICLES.
YOUR CURRENT INSURANCE INFORMATION (COLLISION & COMPREHENSIVE) A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, & A CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED TO DRIVE OUR LOANER VEHICLES.  THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR TO THE LOANER CAR, SHOULD YOUR INSURANCE HAVE LAPSED, SUCH AS COLLISION & LIABILITY.
PLEASE RETURN RENTAL IN THE CONDITION YOU RECEIVED IT WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF FUEL & CLEANLINESS.  YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED IF THE GAS IS NOT REPLACED.  THE VEHICLE WILL BE INSPECTED UPON RETURN FOR DAMAGE & GAS LEVEL.

  • FUEL CHARGE IS $5.00 PER GALLON OR $20.00 PER ¼ TANK.
  • IF CHILDREN ARE TRAVELING WITH YOU IN THE VEHICLE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHILD SAFETY SEAT INSTALLATION.
  • WE ARE PET FRIENDLY & WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOUR PET IS TRAVELING WITH YOU IN THE LOANER VEHICLE TO PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET.
  • PLEASE NO SMOKING IN THE RENTAL/LOANER VEHICLES. $79.95 CHARGE FOR OZONATION.
  • $175.00 FOR AN INTERIOR DETAIL WILL APPLY IF NECESSARY.
